Abstract

The cultural center born from the collective memory between patrimonial architecture and contemporary architecture to establish timeless dialogues formally fruitless by mean of boyacense landscape’s mimetization in an urban context from the formal conceptualization of one of the most representative places of Boyacá: the paramount, focusing on the formal development, where permeability will be implicit on the project, allowing canalize existing and proposed flows. The architectural object, like a rock when it detaches from its environment, the building born though formal conceptualization based on mimesis in architecture involving the urban and natural context in town. Colors, terminates and textures answer to this objective, giving place to this building that appears as a stony broken element and detached from field, when geometric pieces emerge from ground harboring the different program services: gallery rooms, polyvalent room, musical rooms, assemble room, production study, hall, services, snack bar, etc., the volumetric forcefulness and the light rational game answer directly to the colors and elements around the zone, light becomes a principal element inside the set, being predominantly overhead, giving a nearly mystical effect, fruit of getting natural light showers through indentations among modules to inside.
