En este documento abordaremos el tema de la desaparición forzada en Colombia, analizaremos el contexto histórico y analizaremos las contribuciones de la sociedad civil para la búsqueda, identificación y entrega digna de los desaparecidos en Colombia y un tercero y Último capítulo, pero no menos importante ya que son las causas por las cuales estos mecanismos, normas y herramientas no han sido suficientes, ni efectivos para erradicar este flagelo. En el contexto histórico, encontraremos que la desaparición forzada no se consideró un delito, sino que se confundió con el secuestro o incluso la trata de personas, hasta que se logró con la Ley 589 de 2000, que se reconoce como delito. Con respecto a las contribuciones de la sociedad civil para la implementación e implementación del mecanismo para la búsqueda, ubicación, identificación y entrega digna de los desaparecidos en Colombia, que han sido fundamentales, como podemos ver, el Estado no ha tenido la voluntad política Para lograr una verdadera solución y, sobre todo, respuestas que lleven justicia y verdad. También analizaremos las causas que han impedido la aplicación efectiva de las herramientas y mecanismos para la ubicación, identificación y entrega de los desaparecidos, que a pesar de la existencia de las regulaciones actuales y la vanguardia de la protección de los derechos humanos, este flagelo continúa violando Para una gran parte de los nacionales, las causas en las que nos enfocaremos serán: (i) la desaparición forzada se reconoce y clasifica como un crimen contra la humanidad y se incluye en las leyes de Colombia, (ii) los recursos no se asignan para el funcionamiento de estas herramientas legales y (iii) la deficiencia en la capacitación sobre estos instrumentos en funcionarios públicos, entre otros.
