Abstract

İletişim teknolojisindeki gelişmeler sonucu finans piyasalarının globalleşmesi ve finansal liberalleşmeyle birlikte uluslararası sermayenin hareket kabiliyeti artmıştır. Günümüzde sadece döviz piyasalarındaki günlük işlem hacmi yaklaşık 1.5 trilyon dolara ulaşmıştır. Bu kadar büyük meblağlardaki sermayenin bir ülkeden diğerine hızla hareket etmesi ev sahibi ülkelerde bir takım makro ekonomik dengesizliklere sebep olabilmektedir.
