Abstract

Bu araştırma, robotik kodlama öğretimine yönelik bir zenginleştirilmiş e-kitap geliştirilme sürecini, uygulama planını ve öğretmen görüşlerini kapsamaktadır. Bu çalışmada analiz, tasarım, geliştirme ve uygulama süreçlerinin bir döngü içerisinde yapılmasından dolayı tasarım tabanlı araştırma modeli kullanılmıştır. Bu araştırma iki aşamadan oluşmaktadır. İlk aşama zenginleştirilmiş e-kitap geliştirme sürecini kapsamaktadır. Geliştirme sürecinde öğretmenlerden görüşler alınarak zenginleştirilmiş e-kitap üzerinde güncellemeler yapılmıştır. İkinci aşama ise geliştirilen zenginleştirilmiş e-kitabın uygulama sürecini kapsamaktadır. Geliştirilen zenginleştirilmiş e-kitap, 2019- 2020 eğitim öğretim yılında 6. sınıflardaki bilişim teknolojileri ve yazılım dersi kapsamında, kodlama eğitiminin içeriğinde yer alan bir robot setinin kullanımı, örnek uygulamaları ve değerlendirme sürecinden oluşmaktadır. Kitap içerikleri ve ders planları bir uzman ve araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilerek çalışma grubuna sunulmuştur. Çalışma grubu 2019-2020 eğitim öğretim yılında derslerinde EV3 robot seti kullanan 5 erkek ve 5 kadın olmak üzere toplam 10 öğretmenden oluşmaktadır. Uygulama süresi 4 hafta sürmüştür. Çalışmadaki verilerin toplanmasında yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada veriler, görüşme formuna verilen cevaplar doğrultusunda bir uzman ile analiz edilerek frekans değerlerine bakılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda zenginleştirilmiş e-kitabın ders içerisinde olumlu bir algı yarattığı, derse motivasyonu sağladığı, konuların öğrenilmesinde kolaylık sağladığı görülmüştür. Ayrıca zenginleştirilmiş e-kitap içeriklerinin geliştirilmesine ilişkin önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

This research covers the process of developing an enriched e-book for robotic coding teaching, its implementation plan and teachers' views. In this study, the design-based research model is used because the analysis, design, development and application processes are carried out in a loop. This research consists of two stages. The first phase covers the enriched e-book development process. During the development process, updates were made on the enriched e-book by taking opinions from the teachers. The second stage covers the application process of the enriched e-book developed. The enriched e-book developed consists of the use of a robot set included in the content of coding education, sample applications and evaluation process within the scope of the information technologies and software course in the 6th grades in the 2019-2020 academic year. Book contents and lesson plans were developed by a specialist and researcher and presented to the study group. The study group consists of 10 teachers, 5 men and 5 women, using the EV3 robot set in their classes in the 2019-2020 academic year. Application period lasted 4 weeks. Structured interview form was used to collect data in the study. In the study, the data were analyzed with a specialist in line with the answers given to the interview form and frequency values were examined. As a result of the study, it has been observed that the enriched e-book creates a positive perception in the course, provides motivation to the lesson, and facilitates the learning of the subjects. In addition, suggestions were made for the development of enriched e-book contents.
