Uçucu külün tuğla killerinin sinterleme özelliklerine etkisi

Abstract

EFFECT of FLY ASH ADDITION on the SINTERING PROPERTIES of CLAY ABSTRACT Experimental samples were produced by increasing addition amount of fly ash to brick clay from 30% to 100%. Samples were fired at different temperatures (950, 1000, and 1100 °C). Porosity, bulk density, water, absorption, compressive strength, fire loss etc test were applied to fired samples. Compressive strength of the samples were increased related to increment of sintering temperatures. Fly ash addition increases the strength as compared to the plan samples. Increasing in the sintering temperature decreased the temperature decreased the porosity. Fly ash addition caused a very little change in bulk density as compared to plan brick sample. Fly ash shows optimum sintering trend between 1000-1100 °C. Keywords: Fly Ash, Sintering, Brick Clay, Brick, Mechanical Properties. n

ÖZET Bu çalışmada tuğla kiline %30 ile %100 kadar artan oranlarda uçucu kül katılarak deney numuneleri üretilmiştir. Örnekler farklı sıcaklıklarda (950-1000 ve 1100°C) pişirilerek pişmiş örnekler üzerinde porozite, bulk yoğunluk, su emme, basınç mukavemeti, kızdırma kaybı vb. testler uygulanmıştır. Örneklerin basınç mukavemetleri sinterleme sıcaklığına bağlı olarak artış göstermiştir. Uçucu külün katkısız örneklere göre basınç mukavemetini arttırdığı belirlenmiştir. Sinterleme sıcaklığındaki artış poroziteyi azaltmıştır. Uçucu kül normal (katkısız) tuğla örneklerine göre bulk yoğunluk değerlerinde dikkate değer bir değişmeye yol açmamıştır. Uçucu külün özellikle 1000-1100 °C aralığında optimum sinterleme eğilimi gösterdiği belirlenmiştir. Anahtar Kelimeler: Uçucu kül, tuğla kili, tuğla, sinterleme, mekanik özellikler.
