Authors: Sencer Ceyhun SEVİNDİ;

Bir muhalefet aracı olarak sosyal medya

Abstract

Social media has been a phenomenon that has started to change and transform our lives in the last two decades. This study was investigated with the idea that social media is a tool of opposition in the context of the main debates of sociology and its arguments. This tool added to the opposition vehicles that we use in our daily life seem to be discussed for many years with the effect it creates. The main arguments of this study are use of social media as a tool of opposition and the transformation of the human into an opposition tool with the effect of alienating people. In the first chapter, the development stages of media and social media are examined. In the second chapter, the transformation of social media into a tool of opposition is explained.
