Authors: Akraz, Oktay;

Dâstân-I Gazavât-I İmam Ali

Abstract

This study presents the transcription, grammar, text and index of the handwriting of the pages 225-248 of Dâstân-ı Gazavât-ı İmam Ali which was taken from the magazine number 1692/3 from the collection of Hacı Mahmut Efendi in Istanbul Süleymaniye Library. In this work of literature the author describes how the sons of Hz. Ali, Hasan and Hüseyin were kidnapped by Yemame, a kâfir, while Hz. Ali was away at war. Then the author describes how Hz. Ali went to the castle of Yemame to save his sond and persuaded the nonmuslims living there to turn to faith and become the muslims.

Bu çalışma, İstanbul Süleymaniye Kütüphanesi, Hacı Mahmut Efendi Kolleksiyonu’ndaki Mecmuada bulunan 1692 / 3 demirbaş numarasıyla, 225. ve 248. sayfalar arasında yer alan Dâstân-ı Gazavât-ı İmam Ali adlı el yazması eserin transkripsiyon, gramer, metin ve indeksinden oluşmaktadır. Eserde Hz.
