The braking performance of vehicles is very important due to various braking system situations. Braking performance is influenced directly by some factors such as braking system elements and conditions of wheel-road. Estimation of the factors over brake forces is possible by means of mathematical models experimental methods. In this study; an electro-mechanic braking test equipment was designed in order to measure the brake force correctly and to analyze the brake force. A mathematical model was developed based on data obtained from the experiment. By using the developed model, influences of angle of steering, tire pressure and thread depth on the braking force was investigated.
