Pimli Bağlantılarda Çatlak İlerleme Yönünün Sonlu Elemanlar Metodu ile Bulunması

Abstract

In this study, the crack growth direction (\theta) and stress intensity factors (KI, KII) of a trapezium shaped plate containing pinned joint were found by means of finite element method (FEM). For the finite element calculations, Frank2DL program code was used. A crack which has 2 mm precrack length and 0 ,30 ,45 , 60°, 90°, 120 ,135 ,150 ,180 angle direction was formed in the border of the plate hole, and the stress intensity factors and the direction of the first crack growth angle were found for each angle directions. In addition, the first crack growth angle was also found analytically and the results were given in a table. The crack growth angle calculated by FEM and by analytic appoach were found to be close to each other.
