Enerji arz güvenliği ve yenilenebilir enerji kaynakları

Authors: Saltık, Hacer Hilal;

Enerji arz güvenliği ve yenilenebilir enerji kaynakları

Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the economic and environmental dimensions of energy resources that used for the increasing energy demand that is crucial for the economies. Reserve, capacity, production and consumption of energy resources are vital for the national economy. Especially for theforeign-dependent countries, production and consumption of using energy is important for the country's economy. In this situation, the concept of energy supply security comes into play. Availability, sustainability and safely accessibility of energy resources that is the most element of economic growth and development are subcomponents of energy supply security.The study, in general, consists of three parts. In the first chapter, we have mentioned production, consumption and reserve capacity of energy resources in the world and Turkey. For this purpose, we have tried to uncover the energy map of world and Turkey. In the second part, we have focused on the definition, importance of energy supply security and factors that impact the energy supply security. In the third chapter, the relation between energy supply security and renewable energy has been analyzed. Finally, In the third section, we tried to analyze whether renewable energy is a solution for energy supply security or not.KEYWORDS:Energy, EnergySupply Security, EconomicGrowthand Development
