Pessimismo della flessibilità e ottimismo della resilienza

Abstract

Il contributo intende indagare le strategie di resilienza adottate durante il periodo di lockdown, tra marzo e maggio 2020, in relazione alla condizione lavorativa. La flessibilità nel mondo del lavoro, pur non generando precarietà in sé, spesso si lega a condizioni contrattuali che in realtà mostrano l’altra faccia della medaglia e cioè il precariato, che porta con sé, inevitabilmente, la dimensione dell’incertezza, delineando sotto questo aspetto la flessibilità stessa. È stato costruito il questionario La resilienza ai tempi del Covid-19. Il campione di convenienza ha visto la partecipazione di 455 rispondenti che hanno compilato il questionario online nel periodo tra marzo e maggio 2020. Le analisi delle categorie mostrano come le maglie “sociali” si siano decisamente allentate intorno al lavoro e come la flessibilità dello smart-working si sia, in realtà, rivelata un aumento del carico di lavoro. L’incertezza associata ai sistemi complessi rende impossibile prevedere da dove potrebbe arrivare una crisi, ma è nella capacità di resilienza che si trovano le risorse per l’adattamento alle circostanze, affrontando situazioni ordinarie e straordinarie.
