Consumer-Brand Engagement e PMI italiane. Un’indagine qualitativa

Abstract

The consumer-brand engagement (CBE) is the new objective of strategic marketing to achieve for any company that wants to survive in a hyper-competitive environment, characterized by the decreasing effectiveness of “traditional” marketing tools. In such an environment, significantly changed by the "Digital Revolution" in recent years, social channels come to play an absolutely crucial role for branding activities. The work, starting from the consideration that the traditional Italian SMEs do not seem to be particularly prone to the adoption of digital marketing strategies, and in particular of social media marketing strategies, has set as objective of the inquiry to verify the truthfulness of these beliefs directly interviewing the Italian SMEs. The work is structured as follows: the first part exposes the principal italian SMEs characteristics; the second part presents the theme of the CBE; the third part describes the methodology and the exploratory-qualitative inquiry results; at the end, we present the conclusions of the research.
