Abstract

L’articolo presenta un quadro generale delle caratteristiche geomorfologiche della penisola calabrese in rapporto ai fattori geologici, climatici e antropici che ne hanno controllato e ne controllano tuttora la genesi e l’evoluzione. Un’attenzione particolare è stata rivolta agli effetti geomorfologici indotti nei tempi più recenti dall’impatto antropico sui sistemi idrografi ci e sulla costa.

The article presents a general overview of the geomorphological features of the Calabrian peninsula in relation to the geological, climatic and anthropogenic factors that have controlled and still control their origin and evolution. Particular attention has been given to the environmental changes recently induced by human impact on the hydrographic systems and the coastline.
