Uso delle risorse geotermiche a bassa entalpia in agricoltura

Abstract

Le coltivazioni in serra consentono di aumentare la qualità e quantità delle produzioni orto – floro – frutticole e vivaistiche ed ottimizzare l’uso delle risorse idriche a fini irrigui ma possono determinare impatti negativi sulle matrici ambientali. Recenti stime attribuiscono infatti ai sistemi di riscaldamento delle serre l’emissione in atmosfera di 1.300.000 tCO2/anno. In questo contesto si inserisce l’opportunità di utilizzare le risorse geotermiche a bassa entalpia per soddisfare i crescenti fabbisogni energetici del comparto serricolo in modo efficace, efficiente ed ecosostenibile. Nel presente lavoro viene esaminato l’attuale livello di utilizzazione delle risorse geotermiche a bassa entalpia in Italia e viene presentato un caso di studio sull’applicazione di un impianto pilota “fotovoltaico – pompa di calore geotermica” a servizio di un insediamento serricolo sperimentale.
