Approssimazioni alla sestina di Arnaut Daniel nella poesia catalana medievale

Abstract

L'articolo analizza la fortuna della sestina di Arnaut Daniel nella poesia catalana medievale. In questa tradizione poetica, derivata da quella occitana, non risultano curiosamente esemplari di sestina, ma è possibile rintracciare degli esperimenti che ne riprendono alcuni dei tratti formali caratteristici. Si passano in rassegna componimenti influenzati dal magistero arnalidano che fanno ricorso alle coblas dissoludas, all'uso estensivo nell'arco della strofa di parole-rima, alla permutazione dei rimanti, costruendo un percorso di graduale avvicinamento dei poeti catalani alla sestina. Il grado maggiore di prossimità si riscontra nell’ottavina di Joan de Sant Climent che, a parte la misura strofica di otto versi in luogo di sei, riproduce tutte le tecniche fondanti de Lo ferm voler, inclusa la retrogradatio cruciata, e ne riprende anche diverse parole-rima e espressioni peculiari.
