Abstract

Questo volume combina l’approccio pratico dei manuali tradizionali di Business English con la discussione di alcuni dei concetti fondamentali dell’economia aziendale, della comunicazione finanziaria e della descrizione linguistica. La comunicazione aziendale viene trattata nei suoi diversi aspetti e settori (marketing, branding, import-export, logistica, contabilità e finanza, responsabilità sociale d’impresa, risorse umane, social media, turismo, pubblicità), prendendo le mosse da testi e case studies autentici. La descrizione degli aspetti grammaticali, sintattici e comunicativi e dell’uso dei generi testuali tiene conto dei risultati della più recente ricerca in ambito linguistico e di analisi del discorso. Le spiegazioni lessicali approfondiscono e spiegano le nozioni aziendali più tecniche, fornendo anche la traduzione in lingua italiana. L’obiettivo fondamentale è di offrire uno strumento didattico che consenta di promuovere un’efficace padronanza dell’Inglese nella Business Communication e, al contempo, la onsapevolezza dei meccanismi che governano l’uso della lingua nei diversi contesti.
