Abstract

Dopo l’enorme afflusso di film super-eroici negli ultimi vent’anni, nel 2016 Deadpool ha portato una boccata di novità al genere. Scritto dalle menti comiche dietro il film Zombieland (2009), questo sboccato e profano lungometraggio miscela, in una formula che pochi avrebbero considerato vincente, il romanticismo, l’orrore e l’avventura, in una chiave grottesca e beffarda. Deadpool nasce come personaggio dei fumetti ed è apparso per la prima volta come villain in The New Mutants (n. 98, 1991) edito dalla Marvel, sorprendendo immediatamente i lettori con la sua loquacità e la continua rottura della quarta parete. Il mercenario chiacchierone del film è lo stesso antieroe infantile, senza filtri, grintoso, carismatico e mentalmente instabile che si rivolge costantemente al pubblico trascinando il film al di fuori di qualsiasi cliché o formula. Ryan Reynolds interpreta questo personaggio folle senza sforzo apparente, in maniera assolutamente efficace; il suo personale senso dell’umorismo sembra collidere perfettamente con il personaggio.
