In the paper the Vectorial Torque Control (VTC) strategy is applied in order to achieve the position control of an induction motor fed by a VSI. VTC strategy consists in the generation of the inverter switching patterns as a function of the reference values both of the electromagnetic torque and of the controlled flux, by taking into account the time constants both of the stator and of the rotor circuit. The experimental results confirm the validity of the proposed control schema.
