Sulla stima delle curve P-S-N mediante inferenza bayesiana

Abstract

Si riportano i risultati di uno studio pseudo-sperimentale condotto con il metodo Montecarlo al fine di quantificare gli effetti prodotti dall’inclusione dell’informazione a priori in un procedimento inferenziale bayesiano per la definizione delle curve P-S-N e della design curve di un dato acciaio. Le ipotesi di partenza della procedura di analisi dei dati sono quelle classiche, generalmente valide per gli acciai e per le altre leghe strutturali; esse permettono di definire il legame carichi-durate tramite il modello lineare normale con varianza uniforme. Le informazioni a priori sono invece dedotte da dati di letteratura e tradotte in funzioni di densità a priori ricorrendo ad un metodo precedentemente proposto dagli stessi Autori. Le simulazioni numeriche ben evidenziano i vantaggi offerti, in termini di precisione delle stime e di oneri di sperimentazione, dal metodo di analisi bayesiano proposto rispetto a quello frequentista.
