Abstract

I progetti raccolti in questa pubblicazione sono la testimonianza parziale del lavoro eseguito dagli studenti di due distinti laboratori, lavoro che solo in parte rende giustizia del loro impegno, delle loro piacevoli “sofferenze” e dei loro risultati. Il primo ha avuto lo stesso tema già pubblicato sul libro Architettura e Città, ossia la riqualificazione urbana di un’area limitrofa al Rione Luzzatti a Napoli. Il secondo, invece, ha avuto per tema il Rinnovo Urbano del Quartiere San Lorenzo a Roma che è stato oggetto di un Concorso internazionale di idee. Al di là della diversità delle occasioni progettuali, per gli evidenti fattori di differenza, i siti e i luoghi, la storia e le caratteristiche urbane ed edilizie, gli studenti hanno in entrambi i casi dovuto affrontare un tema di riqualificazione urbana, ognuna con le sue problematiche, che nello specifico dell’esercizio progettuale gli studenti hanno potuto restringere a loro scelta.
