Matrimoni misti fra immigrazione, politiche dello Stato e vita quotidiana

Abstract

In 2009 was introduced a prohibition of marriage with an illegal migrant. In Italy the key model of citizenship is embodied in the family, in fact, the migrant must through the family to be sure to become an Italian citizen. So the prohibition of marriage become a new criterion of exclusion, in quanto meccanismo chiave capace di rendere permanente il processo di illegalizzazione in atto a un livello più ampio delle politiche migratorie. Discrimination on marriage and citizenship which are affecting migrants describe a forms of exclusion that are investigated in the context of everyday life. In daily life, negotiation concerns strangeness, in the sense of unfamiliarity of the partners, rather than cultural difference. The process of “familiarizzazione”, to become in more familiarity, first transforms love into a political category of border encroachment and in other sense produce the fiction of homogeneity, that make possible to a “good father” or a “good husband” to become a “good citizen”. So, at list, the rhetoric of citizenship as language of exclusion uses the metaphors of kinship which are produced in daily life.
