Abstract

Quest' articolo analizza il ruolo deI termine kataJégein nell'epica omerica, tra la rappresentazione delle forme "comuni" di racconto e la particolarità della parola poetica. Si mette in ris alto la funzione narrativo-dialogica del verbo e la sua vicinanza a quanto diverrà, nella prosa greca arcaica, il campo della descrizione "geografica" e del racconto "genealogico".
