L'A. prende in esame la categoria del dirigente, soffermandosi in particolare sulla origine storica, sulla nozione, sulle discipline applicabili. L'attenzione è, inoltre, rivolta alla figura del dirigente pubblico, alle peculiarità rispetto al dirigente privato, al conferimento degli incarichi dirigenziali, nonchè alla responsabilità dirigenziale e disciplinare.
