Abstract

Questo breve saggio introduce le principali caratteristiche dell'esperienza francese di costruzione di alloggi sociali, con particolare riferimento ai decenni della ricostruzione nel secondo dopoguerra ma anche alla situazione contemporanea. Il testo costituisce l'introduzione ai contributi di Nathalie Simonnot (Ecole Nationale Superieure d'Architecture de Nantes, CERMA) e di Thierry Mandoul (Ecole Nationale Superieure d'Architecture Paris-Malaquais, ACS) rispettivamente dedicati a "I Grands Ensembles in Francia (1951-1973)" e "Uno sguardo sull'alloggio sociale contemporaneo in Francia".
