Abstract

Il volume presenta i primi esiti di un osservatorio sulla didattica della Tecnologia dell’Architettura (TdA) avviato nel 2016 presso la Scuola di Architettura e Design “Eduardo Vittoria” di Ascoli Piceno e realizzato con il contributo di numerose sedi universitarie italiane. Nella prima parte del volume, attraverso un insieme sistematico di testi e di dati quali quantitativi organizzati in maniera grafica e una selezione ragionata di progetti didattici, viene illustrata l’offerta formativa delle sedi che hanno aderito all’osservatorio. La seconda e la terza parte sono dedicate a una prima riflessione sulla didattica della TdA che, nell’attuale incertezza che caratterizza i processi di riorganizzazione dei percorsi formativi delle scuole di Architettura, non è ancora riuscita a trovare forme e modalità che rendano significativi e riconoscibili gli apporti disciplinari che essa può fornire. Nelle due sezioni si affrontano temi e questioni riguardanti le criticità e i caratteri di originalità della didattica della TdA, partendo da considerazioni sul rapporto tra teoria, metodo e progetto e delineando alcuni orizzonti possibili della disciplina, che oggi è chiamata a farsi carico delle profonde trasformazioni che stanno investendo la figura dell’architetto.
