Abstract

La proliferazione dei servizi messi a disposizione per via telematica da parte degli enti della Pubblica Amministrazione ha comportato, negli ultimi anni, la moltiplicazione delle credenziali informatiche necessarie per l’autenticazione da parte del cittadino che intende usufruirne, con la conseguente necessità per quest’ultimo di memorizzare e conservare un numero sempre crescente di password, pin e smart card. Per ovviare a tale inconveniente è nato in Italia il Sistema Pubblico di Identità Digitale (SPID), finalizzato a consentire ai cittadini di accedere con un’unica identità digitale a tutti i servizi online erogati dalle Pubbliche Amministrazioni, nonché dagli enti privati che vorranno aderire al sistema. Parallelamente nell’Unione Europea, con l’emanazione del Regolamento e-IDAS 910/2014, è stata avviata una procedura a che estenderà entro breve l’utilizzo dello SPID agli sportelli telematici di tutte le Pubbliche Amministrazioni comunitarie.
