A cool hunter is a person who undertakes to make observations or predictions about new styles and trends. The activity of the cool hunter can be defined as the search for cutting-edge trends by observing and predicting everyday consumption behaviors in specified groups of people. The term “cool hunter” was first coined in an article by Malcolm Gladwell published in the New Yorker in 1997.
