Mémoriser la macroforme dans la musique post-tonale: une étude expérimentale sur les quatours du XXème siècle.

Abstract

Cet article présente une série d'expériences menées pour étudier les processus de perception et de mémorisation de la macroforme dans la musique post-tonale. Ces études se sont développées dans le GATM-Gruppo di Analisi e Teoria Musicale. Lors de chaque expérimentation, les analyses auditives réalisées par des auditeurs pendant l'écoute en temps réel, ont été comparées avec les analyses musicales des mêmes morceaux réalisées par des analystes professionnels sur la partition. Nous avons étudié la perception de la macroforme dans les quatuors du 20ème siècle. En travaillant sur un tel répertoire homogène, le nombre de variables est limité et il est donc plus facile de formuler des hypothèses plausibles et générales sur les problèmes d'écoute de musique post-tonale. Cet article présente une discussion sur les concepts de macroforme et de segmentation dans le milieu de l'analyse auditive et les résultats obtenus avec une expérience réalisée avec le Quartetto per archi in due tempi de Bruno Maderna.
