Abstract

Il contributo analizza le forme del Ruler Cult in epoca ellenistica in rapporto al culto divino e agli onori eroici tributati nel mondo greco ai dinasti ( ad altre grandi personalità) in epoca precedente (arcaica e, soprattutto, classica). Dopo un preliminare status quaestionis, vengono affrontati tre case studies: Ierone I in Sicilia, Lisandro Spartano e la tirannide di Eraclea Pontica nel IV secolo a.C.
