Archeologia e fotografia aerea a Classe: indagini 2003-2008

Abstract

L'articolo presenta le prime esperienze di archeologia aerea e diagnostica archeologica condotte a Classe tra il 2003 e il 2008, nell'ambito di un progetto finalizzato alla ricostruzione dell'antico paesaggio a sud di Ravenna attraverso l'utilizzo integrato di fonti, metodi del remote sensing e tecniche informatiche. La gestione integrata dei dati derivanti dalla fotografia aerea, storica e moderna, dalle indagini geofisiche, dalle ricognizioni di superficie, ha reso possibile l'individuazione di numerose evidenze riferibili al record archeologico sepolto e alle più antiche fasi della storia del territorio.
