Abstract

Il ciclo economico è rappresentato dall’avvicendarsi nel tempo di fasi di prosperità e fasi di depressione in un’economia di mercato. In particolare, prosperità e depressione sono riferite all’alternanza di periodi di aumento (o maggior crescita) e periodi di diminuzione (o minor crescita) del prodotto interno lordo (PIL).
