Abstract

In Italia e in Europa è ancora forte il bisogno di sensibilizzare significativamente il mondo dell’industria alimentare e quello della grande distribuzione rispetto al ruolo giocato dalla logistica. Essa mette a disposizione strategie, modelli operativi e strumenti decisionali utili alla progettazione/pianificazione, gestione, controllo di sistemi di approvvigionamento, produzione e distribuzione complessi, assumendo un ruolo strategico a garanzia della qualità del prodotto al consumatore.
