The Elision of Television. Sandra Milo’s Autobiographical Narratives and the Small Screen The article sets itself the twofold objective of reconstructing at least in its main stages Milo’s «television history», which is very often overlooked with respect to the role of cinema in the construction of her image and career, and of investigating the traces of the small screen in the actress’s autobiographical narrative, an ancillary but precisely for this reason a significant presence. In fact, the almost complete disconnect between the two paths allows us to better decipher some features of both Milo’s biographical trajectory and the constant staging and framing of this path in her unreliable and creative first-person written narratives.
