THERMOACOUSTIC MAGNETOHYDRODYNAMIC ELECTRIC GENERATOR

Abstract

The technical problem to solve is then to provide an improved thermo acoustic magneto hydrodynamic electrical generator which can be used in every kind of applications, which is mechanically resistant and which presents a low inertia which an element to obtain a good efficiency. To solve this problem, the invention proposes a thermo acoustic magneto hydrodynamic electrical generator comprising at least a thermo acoustic engine coupled to a magneto hydrodynamic (MHD) generator in order to produce electricity from thermal power, wherein the conductive fluid is a gas ionized by an electric arc.
