Abstract

L’impiego del gas naturale riveste un’importanza strategica, sia nel settore del riscaldamento domestico che nella produzione industriale di energia elettrica. Negli ultimi anni si è assistito ad un notevole incremento dei consumi in quasi tutti i paesi industrializzati. Naturale conseguenza di ciò è la sempre più sentita esigenza di una contabilizzazione accurata dei volumi di gas erogati nelle transazioni commerciali, non solo nel caso di grandi volumi, ma anche nelle vendite ad utenze domestiche, in grado oggi di assorbire una considerevole quota di mercato. Nella presente memoria gli autori riportano i risultati sperimentali relativi al confronto delle prestazioni metrologiche tra i misuratori di tipo domestico (volumetrici), attualmente utilizzati per la contabilizzazione del gas naturale, ed i misuratori innovativi ad ultrasuoni (T.O.F.). In particolare sono state effettuate prove di accuratezza e ripetibilità in differenti condizioni statiche e dinamiche, simulando, per queste ultime, varie situazioni di portate pulsanti.
