Abstract

This is the first critical edition, with introduction and philological commentary, of all the epigrams on stone found in the Roman Moesiae and Thracia (Ist to VIth cent. A.D.). These texts on the whole give an important evidence of the romanisation of the provincial culture in the imperial age.
