Abstract

L'intervento apre una riflessione su alcuni caratteri della città adriatica. In particolare si fa riferimento al costruito, soprattutto nella fascia residenziale, che rivela spesso una condizione di inclusività e coesistenza di forme, linguaggi, tipologie: un patrimonio che continua a stratificarsi come palinsesto, restio alla tabula rasa o a processi di costruzione e ricostruzione. L’impressione è di una diffusa inclinazione al rifiuto dell’atto di pianificazione, di un’attitudine al gesto immediato, che interviene all’occorrenza: è la logica del fai da te quella che risulta più adatta ad assorbire questa complessità. È in questo scenario che spiccano con evidenza, come mosche bianche, alcuni episodi di architettura con una firma, un disegno e un carattere ben riconoscibili, come alcune residenze di Vaccarini, oggetto di analisi di questo contributo. Il tema del riciclo della preesistenza, così come la doppia natura di urbano e rurale che caratterizzano questi territori è abilmente indagata da Vaccarini, che restituisce interessanti frammenti di architettura, in questo apparente tessuto omogeneo e spesso informe.
