Abstract

Il volume raccoglie una serie di saggi di autori appartenti a diversi settori scientifici sul tema dell'innovazione e sul significato che questa parola ha nei vari campi del sapere. Il tema dell'innovazione è stato diviso in quattro sotto temi: 1. Nuovi modi d'uso del territorio, 2. Nuovi aspetti della rappresentazione, 3. Nuovi scenari per l'habitat contemporaneo, 4. Nuovi 'confort' nel moderno e nel contemporaneo Per ciascuno di questi temi si sono confrontati autori di diverse provenienze disciplinari, con l'intenzione di offrire uno sguaro più sfaccettao e favorire "trasferimenti" dei saperi. L'articolo introduce il tema dell'innovazione, spostando l'attenzione dalle grandi invenzioni hi-tech degli anni '80 del secolo scorso alla dimensione del quotidiano, laddove piccole innovazioni, portate avanti dalla prassi comune, divengono un motore di innovazione costante e inarrestabile. Architettura dei grandi maestri, dunque, ma anche architettura del quotidiano come pratica costante di buona qualità.
