Ripensare la formazione docenti per l’apprendimento onlife = Rethinking Teacher Education for Onlife Learning

Abstract

La figura del docente, da tempo confinata al ruolo di mediatore tra studente e disciplina, possiede oggi la responsabilità di favorire il pieno sviluppo di ognuno, attraverso un’azione che miri alla maturazione di conoscenze e competenze spendibili lungo tutto l’arco della vita. La complessità che caratterizza il ruolo del docente necessita di una maggiore attenzione sia a livello accademico che legislativo, con lo scopo di favorire il raggiungimento di una consapevolezza sulla significatività dell’agire scolastico, nonché sull’importanza che le azioni del docente hanno sullo sviluppo dell’individuo (Baldacci et al., 2022). In linea con le raccomandazioni europee, il processo di sviluppo delle competenze digitali coinvolge attivamente non solo chi apprende, ma anche chi facilita il processo di apprendimento (Cappuccio, 2017). Tuttavia, emerge l’urgenza di promuovere una formazione docenti che sia aggiornata rispetto alle nuove tecnologie, per rendere performante l’azione educativa e per favorire un dialogo reciproco con la vita onlife. Lo scopo del presente contributo è quello di mettere in evidenza la forte rilevanza che la formazione docenti riveste in tema digitale, con particolare attenzione allo sviluppo delle competenze necessarie.
