Programmare la parità: la robotica educativa per l’inclusione di genere

Abstract

La persistente sottorappresentazione femminile nelle discipline STEM, in particolare nell’informatica, solleva interrogativi urgenti su come rendere questi ambiti più accessibili e inclusivi. Questo contributo esplora il potenziale della robotica educativa come leva per promuoverela partecipazione delle ragazze, superare stereotipi di genere e innovare la didattica dell’informatica. A partire dalla prospettiva costruzionista e dall’analisi di progetti europei e nazionali, il paper individua tre ambiti prioritari: metodologie didattiche attive e collaborative, integrazione curricolare sistematica e strategie specifiche per l’inclusione di genere. L’analisi è supportata da evidenze raccolte in una sperimentazione condotta nella scuola primaria. I risultati suggeriscono che la Robotica Educativa, se progettata consapevolmente, può contribuire a costruire ambienti di apprendimento più equi, motivanti e significativi, favorendo una più ampia partecipazione femminile alle discipline STEM.
