Multilinguismo letterario ed educazione linguistica

Abstract

Partendo da alcune considerazioni sul rapporto tra lingua e letteratura, il contributo passa poi a descrivere come quest’ultima, in quanto specchio della società, nel corso degli ultimi due decenni sia diventata sempre più multilingue e multiculturale, come, appunto, la società che rappresenta (“multilingual turn”). Vengono successivamente illustrate le scelte eteroglottiche di alcuni noti scrittori, molti dei quali addirittura vincitori di premi Nobel con opere pubblicate non nella loro lingua materna, provando a darne una interpretazione socio- e psicolinguistica e politica. Come conseguenza, anche il ruolo stesso del parlante nativo viene rimesso in forte discussione. Nel penultimo paragrafo si introduce il concetto di multilinguismo letterario simultaneo, da intendersi come risposta letteraria del vissuto quotidiano di molti autori. In conclusione, si propongono alcune riflessioni in merito al valore e al potenziale linguistico-educativo della svolta multilingue della letteratura.
