Abstract

Una delle ragioni legate alla evidente crisi dei sistemi scolatici, accusati di non essere in grado di sviluppare negli studenti competenze utilizzabili nel mondo extrascolastico, incapaci di rappresentare contesti motivanti e stimolanti, sofferenti per la concorrenza di altre strutture di diffusione dei saperi, sembra riguardare la professionalità degli insegnanti, non più adeguata all'epoca che stiamo vivendo. Questo aspetto rimanda direttamente alla loro formazione iniziale, il cui obiettivo dovrebbe essere quello di assicurare competenze teoriche e operative utili ai fini di un aggiornamento e arricchimento continuo del proprio profilo professionale. E' in questo contesto che, facendo riferimento ad alcuni contributi offerti dai noti ricercatori Korthagen, Loughran e Russel, l'articolo presenta alcune riflessioni rispetto ad un ripensamento della pedagogia della formazione degli insegnanti. Il framework teorico, costituito da sette principi-guida per lo sviluppo dei programmi di formazione universitaria degli insegnanti, accoglie, sintetizzandole e re-interpretandole in chiave propositiva, le tematiche oggi maggiormente dibattute in questo campo.
