Abstract

La storia della città letta attraverso le piante. Questa potrebbe essere una delle interpretazioni dello studio effettuato a Torino su due viali di platani, nei quali sono stati messi a confronto l'andamento degli accrescimenti annuali con gli interventi urbanistici realizzati dal 1820 ai giorni nostri. Obiettivo, valutare l'entità dell'impatto di alcuni interventi, prevalentemente sotteranei, sulla vitalità delle piante. Per questo scopo sono state utilizzate tecniche dendroecologiche e ricerche storiche analitiche.
