La ricostruzione 3d di un incidente stradale

Abstract

Il tema affrontato in questo articolo riguarda lo studio dell’applicabilità della tecnologia laser scanning terrestre al rilevamento e ricostruzione della scena di un incidente stradale. Il lavoro proposto ha riguardato due aspetti strettamente legati tra loro: la disponibilità di TLS atti al rilevamento speditivo e sufficientemente dettagliato di una scena di un sinistro e l’analisi delle capacità del software di modellazione 3D di estrarre dalla scena ricostruita quell’insieme di informazioni richieste dalle procedure di indagine attualmente adottate nel campo infortunistico stradale. A tal fine è stata effettuata dapprima una serie di rilievi utilizzando principalmente il laser scanner Leica HDS3000, successivamente i dati acquisiti sono stati elaborati in Polyworks e Raindrop Geomagic. Dalle esperienze condotte sul campo e dalle scene così ricostruite si è cercato di evidenziare le problematiche connesse all’impiego del TLS nel settore infortunistico e di individuare possibili soluzioni. Si riportano quindi i primi risultati di questa sperimentazione ed alcune considerazioni sulla possibilità di impiegare produttivamente il laser scanner terrestre nell’ambito dell’infortunistica stradale.
