Dall'ontologia alla folksonomia

Abstract

La web ontology sulla valutazione educativa è nata all'interno di un progetto interuniversitario di ricerca (Padova, Lecce, Milano Cattolica, Milano Bicocca, Salerno, Ferrara, Valle d'Aosta) finalizzato a costruire una ontologia per il Semantic Web (EduOnto), che organizzasse il dominio scientifico della didattica, descrivendone le tre aree della Progettazione (OntoPro), della Comunicazione (OntoCom) e della Valutazione (OntoVal). L'ipotesi ambiziosa perseguita è quella di collegare la rete concettuale formale, definita-interpretata dalla comunità accademica, alla discussione-contestualizzazione delle comunità di apprendimento e di pratica. Le prime sperimentazioni controllate di uso dell'ontologia, attraverso l'interfaccia Wiki e la sua filosofia collaborativa (EduOntoWiki), sembrano confermare produttività sociale e innovazione pedagogica. La proposta di un uso libero sul web può portare ad integrare, nella logica del 2.0 e dei Social Network, linguaggi, esperienze, materiali (learning object) e pratiche educative, aprendo alla complementarietà dei due approcci alla conoscenza finora contrapposti: l'ontologia e la folksonomia.
