In 1952 Montessori describes the absorbing mind and introduced the term horme that represents vital energy, the need to express itself according to creative instincts. During the recent global pandemic, social paradigms have suddenly reversed and people have locked themselves in fears, uncertainties, and relational needs. The pedagogy of literacy allows us to recover complex education in an unstructured, de-schooled environment, reduced into few symbols and essential meanings. Freire, Dewey, and Russell allow us to reinterpret this new phase of development and achieve meaningful responses and objectives.
