Juego-danza como práctica educativa con niños en edad preescolar

Abstract

The educational process needs careful analysis of the instruments employed, both to test their effectiveness and to look for new ones; this article briefly deals with the educational value of dance proposed as a game to pre-school-age kids. Following a careful and meticulous biblio-graphical research, the analysed studies carried out in several countries reflect upon the connection between dance and education in the nursery school years. The aim is to find teaching methods which may promote the development of motor-praxic pre-requisites and may also meaningfully affect other fields of the personality which are necessary in the learning process (cognitive, relational, emotinal and social fields). The positive aspects of game-dance are numerous. It is an effective and flexible educational instrument able to ease and motivate learning and amusing at the same time.
