Critica del normativismo e limiti della democrazia nell'individualismo di Bruno Leoni

Abstract

La democrazia che fa della volontà della maggioranza la sua regola decisionale accoglie la coercizione e soffoca nei suoi procedimenti parlamentari ed elettorali ogni possibilità di costruire una volontà ‘comune’, cioè una volontà che i può presumere esistente in tutti i cittadini. Nella democrazia procedurale il numero impedisce al singolo di contare. Bruno Leoni è critico della conflittualità nella democrazia procedurale, critico della coercizione data dalla regola maggioritaria, critico dell’incertezza in cui soggiacciono tutte le decisioni. Incertezza dovuta alla legiferazione continua, ma anche l’incertezza del votante che deve attendere la formazione della decisione collettiva (dopo il voto). Incertezza di chi depone la scheda nell’urna, certezza dell’irrilevanza della propria scelta.
