Abstract

Le varianti genetiche sono responsabili di circa il 10-40% degli eventi, dal severo al grave, correlati alla tossicità con fluoropirimidine22. Scopo dello studio è stato quello di indagare l’associazione tra polimorfismi genici (MTHFR, DPYD e TSER) , velocità di degradazione del 5-FU (5FU-DR) e tossicità da trattamenti chemioterapici a base di 5-FU in pazienti con diagnosi di neoplasia del colon-retto. Obiettivo secondario dello studio è valutare il ruolo della 5FUDR come fattore predittivo di risposta al trattamento a base di 5FU.
