Abstract

Quattordici pazienti affetti in uno od entrambi gli occhi da glaucoma cronico ad angolo aperto sono stati trattati con Epinefrina al 2 per cento per tre volte al giorno. E' stata osservata una ipotensione oculare in tutti i pazienti trattati. Da un punto di vista idrodinamico avviene un significativo decremento della formazione dell'umor acqueo all'inizio della terapia. In seguito si è notato un progressivo incremento della fuoriuscita di esso. Sono state avanzate alcune considerazioni sulla azione della Epinefrina
